Spotlight: Stained Glass Tattoos by Mikael de Poissy

You can be one of the most respected tattoo artists of a country and even in the world and still keep humility and a sense of humor. Mikaël de Poissy is one of those. Born in Poissy, a city in the suburbs of Paris, Mikaël caught the tattoo fever at 17, and started inking with makeshift equipment on friends and family. Fortunately, tattooer Dimitri HK took him under his wing and Mikaël polished his skills during tree years in a real tattoo shop with his mentor.

Now a master himself, Mikaël is often invited to the greatest tattoo conventions of the world and featured in magazines, where he also does some articles (Tatouage Magazine). His shop is decorated with his paintings, which, like his tattoos, are a unique mix of old-school style, churches stained glasses and vintage French posters. His art perfectly capture the soul of the old Paris.
