Now, he is tattooing and selling his art and books only in world’s finest tattoo conventions. I had the chance to meet him at Paris Tattoo Convention last month and even though he was of course very popular and busy, he kindly answered my questions while tattooing his client.
Could you describe your style ?
I am really inspired by the aesthetic of Asia : India, Thailand, Tibet. I love doing geometrical patterns such as mandalas and dotwork.
How do you proceed for each tattoo’s project ?
My client here came with the project of a flower of life and a mandala. Clients usually tell me the main idea of their tattoo and how big they want it. Then, I inject my art into it. They never bring a design : I have the tools, so I do it myself in order to suit both the client’s wish and my artist’s view.
