Some ink addicts are pushing the limits of boldness with anatomic tattoos displaying what should be hidden underneath their tattooed skin!

Biomechanical style is indeed playing with the vision of gory muscles, veins, bones and organs, mixing them with futuristic technology and fantasy anatomy. Indeed, anatomic tattoos are not always very acurate, the idea being more important than the realism. Accidents survivors, horror movies lovers or medical students get them to remember what we are all made of, and obviously because they look badass... You don't have to be as extreme as Rick Genest aka Zombie Boy, but fascination for anatomy is here to stay! The most popular anatomical tattoo design is first the heart, as well as designs inspired by vintage medical illustrations. But if you are audacious enough, either to require inspiration for an impressive tattoo or just to look at them without feeling nauseous (!) here is a selection of anatomic tattoos that are definitely not for the faint of heart...
