Her signature style is illustrative linework-based, neatly outlined in black. Based on her website, she doesn't do full-colored ones. She only turns it up occasionally with minimal color.
And dear, she's good at at it when she does.
With all that under her belt, Lisa has successfully managed to keep the rest about her life private. All we know is that she's a walking, breathing unit of knowledge of many aspects of art that's reflected in her endeavours that goes way back in the underground scene.
Her own distinct style is very prominent. It's this signature clean lines and well-defined spaces done in a very minimalist yet intriguing work.
The L'Orth all about lines, and understated elegance.
Lisa is said to be very particular about her custom works. Like most good artists, she knows her limits and the types of things she won't do. For instance, she doesn't do script or text, full color work, additions or reworks to existing tattoos, cover-ups, and above all, anything that is a reproduction of an existing artwork.
It's definitely a quality to admire that all tattoo artists should take note of, to be as real as possible and know how far your abilities can stretch to. There's totally nothing wrong with trying new things, as long as you know you can nail it and send a very satisfied client home.
These are some of the backpieces she's done.
