If you know Tattoodo well enough, then you know that we've shown you some pretty insane and ridiculous tattoos actual people get.
We've had our share of the good, the bad and the ugly. This post is no different.
I guess we're all familiar here with The Dress. That one that caused such hype and arguments that it broke the internet as bad as Kim Kardashian's ass' photo shoot did. Well, humans will be humans and it was only a matter of time before some bored guy had one too many and got behind the gun and ask for a tattoo of something the internet just gave birth to.
Meet Daniel Howland, a body mod artist from Austin, Texas. He sparked up an idea to get it done and hit up Nick York for a sweet job. Twenty minutes later, he's the first man on earth to have The Dress immortalized on his skin.
He then stated in a Buzzfeed interview that, “I pretty much got it because, I mean, I keep up with all the social memes and hysteria and whatever, and this is the only one that I really couldn’t wrap my brain around. So I just decided to do it.”
Just like the varied opinions debating the color of The Dress, Howland also received different comments. Many tweeted that they 'have lost their faith in humanity' and that it was 'utterly stupid' while some really appreciated the tattoo. And let me say Mr. Howland, we also do appreciate your art. We accept tattoos in many forms. And you deserve the #totd of Tattoodo. Good day.
But here's the thing: that damn dress is still white and gold to me.
