Steven Patrick Morrissey, (mostly known -Morrissey) is regarded as one of the most influential figures to ever grace the world of Brit Pop.
Rising to prominence in the mid 80's as the lead singer of "The Smiths" Morrissey has since enjoyed a long solo career since they disbanded in 1987.
His music is described as "dramatic, bleak, funny vignettes about doomed relationships, lonely nightclubs, the burden of the past and the prison of the home". You may not know him by name, though if you've lived through the 80's or 90's you have for sure heard his music - which has graced cult movie soundtracks such as Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Wedding Singer, The Craft, and Never Been Kissed to name a few.
This week we celebrate 56th year of one of our favorite icons, by spotlighting some super fans, and their Morrissey tattoos. Happy Birthday Moz!
