Calling all graphic novel and comic book fans! We really do love nothing more than two art forms colliding into one sweet piece of art.
If you're familiar with the graphic novel Modern Polaxis, then you might have come across the name Satu. Satu is the creator of Modern Polaxis, a comic about a distraught time traveller. It's an interesting one and definitely worth picking up for reads. It's also the first AR (Augmented Reality) comics released.
It's not your regular turn-the-page comic book, either. The story comes with a free iOS app which readers can download straight from the App Store and unravel hidden messages and animation through the app. This is made possible by the Boomcore AR technology, which is also developed by Satu and interactive designed Lukasz Karluk.
Satu recently got a piece of his own work inked on his arm, but was thrilled to find out that his comic book app not only works with the pages, but it also got along well with his skin art!
The Marvel fan in me is hyperventilating. The idea of Wolverine alone and his sweet, sweet adamantium boring its sheer beauty on and in my skin is enough to get me stumped for this genius creation. Kudos to Sutu and Lukasz! There shall be more!
