In a 14 year NBA career Allen Iverson was an eleven time NBA All-Star, claimed the NBA All-Star game MVP in 2001 and 2005 and was also the NBA's most valuable player in 2001, but he also collected an impressive amount of tattoos. Like many modern sport stars Iverson has a taste for the inkier things in life and has honored those close to him by getting tattoos that represent them, but which of his tattoos does he regret?

Tattoo regret is a common thing for most serious tattoo collectors, there will always be that one tattoo that you look at and think, did I really get that? Is it really as cool as I thought? Should I get a cover up? Well even athletic superstars encounter the same tattoo issues. Luckily for Iverson it was just one tattoo that caused him regret, thankfully one cover up later and all is well. Talking to the Huffington Post Iverson eluded further to the tattoo that for a short while was the bane of this life!

Iverson described his favorite tattoos as honoring his loved ones; "I can say my kids, my mom, my grandma, my girl. And then everything else I love those too because they all mean something. Except this one right here,". The tattoo in question is located on Iversons forearm.

“My friend ... used to tease me about a tattoo I had right here, but it was so big and what he was teasing me about -- he said it looked like a flying monkey. It’s supposed to have been a grim reaper holding a ball. But it did look like a monkey. He was teasing me so much that I had to cover it with the panther. I had to. It had to be something big. So this really is the only one that don’t mean anything. This was just a cover up.”

So there you go, even the best and greatest battle tattoo regret and sometimes have to accommodate a tattoo that doesn't mean anything to them!!
