Braille Tattoos: Beauty Is Not Always Visible

jentheripper in Tattoo Ideas

Sometimes, tattoo art can be a way to bridge a gap between people. There is a type of people who can't enjoy tattoo art, it is blind people.

Their disability prevents them for seeing the beauty created by artists, but that doesn't mean they can't understand beauty, do beautiful things and, in a way, see it. Because, as the saying says: "what is essential is invisible to the eyes" and beauty, in this world, is essential. Beauty is inside of us. To show their support and love to blind people, some of their family members and friends decide to get Braille tattoos. Braille is a special tactile language used by blind and visually impaired people to read and get informations on that world they can't see. These tattoos are symbolic, they are telling about empathy and acceptance of difference through love. But real Braille tattoos also exist. Actually, they are not really tattoos as they are not made of ink, but of metal beads, put underneath the skin to recreate the embossed designs of Braille messages. This way, people can communicate with their skin... If you too want to show your love for someone with tiny yet powerful ink, then, you should admire these meaningful Braille tattoos.
