Model Rapper Jackel Daniels Trolled For Her Tattoos!!
Model turned rapper Jackel Aitchison, or stage name Jackel Daniels, has amassed an awesome following of over 100,000 across social media.
She is making a name for herself in the music industry, but as with most forms of success the haters are going to hate and Jackel has found herself on the receiving end of online trolls. Jackel's haters and trolls range from people attacking her appearance and tattoos to people telling her to take her own life!
'It's hate mail and comments they put on my photos telling me to go kill myself.'
Jackel, 24, was born in Christchurch but moved to Sydney five years ago to pursue her modelling career. After 3 years of modelling and showgirl work in Sydney, Jackel found herself in a hospital bed after a breast enhancement didn't go as planned and her modelling career left on hold, but as any determined entertainer does Jackel found a new career to tackle in the music industry.
'I am lying on a hospital bed listening to music and the fact I could no longer be a showgirl, I needed my creative juices to be put to use elsewhere...So I thought "let's do music". I always wanted to but you know, I can't sing but I found out that I can really rap'
Jackel recently released her music video 'Put In Fitness' and the haters were soon doing their best to put the rapper down, attacking her sound, style and appearance. A large amount of the criticism has fallen on her collection of awesome tattoos, because of course women can't have tattoos in this modern and free world. Then again it would be a safe assumption that the haters, trolls and critics targeting her ink probably don't have any tattoos themselves and are most likely just that little bit sexist!
'I live in art - my body is adorned in tattoo art and you know, about 90 per cent of them are direct writings of my life, it's like a journal entry except on my skin...'They (tattoos) refer to something which happened in my life, I am an artist, I have eccentric fashion tastes and my ears are filled with music.'

Jackel however is not one to be deterred or damaged by the critics and negative messages instead she looks past the hate and to the person it comes from; 'I see past the words spitting venom, I actually feel sorry for them and all the negative influences they have created for themselves..'The truth is that I am important to them, otherwise they wouldn't bother.'
It is a sad reminder that no matter how hard you work or how much you go through to find success there will always be someone looking to put you down simply because of the way you look or the way you are. Jackel is an awesome example of a person who expresses her self as she wants and uses the critics and hate to push her self forward to achieve bigger and better things.
