As an occasional lurker at DeviantArt, I get to see some of the most insane art works. DeviantArt is where I found Meatshop Tattoo.
Owned by Peter Blackhand Madsen, located at Copenhagen, Denmark.
One look at his works and you can tell that they're heavily influenced by Nordic and Scandinavian folk art. In case you're not familiar with either, it's the same kind of recognition you get when you see traditional American or traditional Japanese tattoos.
Instead of using tracing paper some tattoo artists make use of, Peter draws his designs directly on the client's skin to get a better feel of what would suit the client's body.
Peter started tattooing back in 2010, learning the basics from a friend and then working his way up from there. He currently works at Meatshop Tattoo with Sean Parry, a fellow tattoo artist specialising in Nordic and Celtic designs.
Dotwork and sacred geometry are present in Peter's works. They're what European tribal symbols usually require.
Notice how the flow of Peter's art on his client's bodies are almost impeccable.
