Ed Sheeran's Tattoos And Our Top Five Ed Sheeran Jams
While we're at it, let's go check out Ed Sheeran's many other tattoos. And go play some of his finest tunes along the way.
Ed Sheeran is probably one of the most tattooed singers on the top charts. I mean, when you think of all the mainstream singers with tattoos, it's usually just Demi Lovato with her hipster tattoos, Miley Cyrus and her whack tattoos, or Ariana Grande and her tiny tattoos. Besides, Ed is actually a good musician. He writes his own songs and he doesn't sound terrible on live performances.
Aside from his talent, I found Ed Sheeran's tattoos quite as interesting as he is. Some of the smaller ones don't look too great, but I don't think Sheeran was aiming for that kind of perfection. I mean, I think we all want tattoos we won't have to cover so we make sure we get it right and get ours designed by the best we could get. Learning about his tattoos, with Ed, his tattoos seem to be mainly about the story over the quality. It may be quite a bit rough up close but as a whole, it's almost as lovely as his music.
We listed down some of our picks from his sleeve. His sleeves consist of small, random designs that we can't catch up with each and every thing that's in there. Many of them had pretty interesting stories behind them, too.
Now playing, ‘Lego House’, it's the first Ed Sheeran song I've ever heard.
Above are tattoos that were inspired by songs and material he had worked on. Music plays a big part on Ed's life so it's no surprise that most of his ink has something to do with it.
No matter how overplayed this track already is, I still think it's wonderful. It kind of makes you forget how terrible it actually is to fall in love.
Recent from Music
The last couple years have been good to Sheeran, getting the opportunity to tour the world and get to work with the biggest names in the industry.
‘The City’ is a song written by Sheeran recounting his move from Halifax to London to pursue his dreams.
Ed made strong friendships in the industry, among them were the people mentioned above, with whom he had shared tattoos with.
The song ‘Small Bump’ is supposed to be about a friend's miscarriage, re-told by Sheeran through a song, though he has always been very vague about it.
The tattoos above are centered around Ed's family and friends; everyone he left behind to make a name for himself in the city.
This is from one of Ed's earlier stuff.
Ed had already shared his plans on filling up his whole body with ink, as his tattoo artist Kevin Paul warns him to not overdo it, though. Kevin told The Sun, "Ed is nowhere near done. There are going to be even bigger tattoos in the next few months.” Sounds good to us!
“He’s going to have his entire back covered, and then across his ribs. It’ll be incredible,” he adds. Go check out MTV and this Tumblr blog for more. Learned a lot there. Cheers!
