Heavily Tattooed Performer The Enigma Visits Lumberton Tattoo Parlor
You wish you lived in Lumberton if only for last week.
A heavily-tattooed performer by the name of The Enigma recently gave a tattoo parlor in Lumberton, North Carolina a visit. Folks were flocking last week to tattoo shop Wicked Skinsations just to see something ‘freaky’. The Enigma was in town for a couple days of bizarre goodness.
The Enigma spent his two-day visit making stomachs churn with sick acts like these.

Basically, the public reacted only the way we expected them to.
Why Wicked Skinsations shop though? Well, The Enigma (born Paul Lawrence) and shop owner Eddie Williams go way back. They've known each other for years, having met each another at a convention years ago. The Enigma promised his old friend that he'd drop by when he gets the time, so there he was.
Here's a photo of The Enigma during his early years.
The Enigma is what Williams would describe as ‘hard to miss, easy to misjudge.’ We love how on point his description is and how many of us can relate to it sometimes.
“When you see him for the first time, you’re like ‘holy cow.’ But I think once people talk to him for a second, they’ll realize he’s a super nice guy and a really intelligent fellow,” Williams adds further about his good friend.
The Enigma was also once the most tattooed man alive. Aside from his ink-covered skin, he also sports several other body modifications including horn implants, modified ears (modelled to resemble a puzzle piece), and stretched lip piercings, among others. To The Enigma, it was go big or go home!
