Miniature Ink Ii: Tattoo Artists Customize Kewpie Dolls For Good Cause
If you happen to be in London for the London Tattoo Convention 2015, don't miss the Miniature Ink II exhibition.
This special art show is gathering 100 of the world's leading tattoo artists around a very special canvas: kewpie dolls. A cult object within the tattoo community as well as a source of inspiration for kewpie tattoos, this adorable little toy is the star of the second edition of Miniature Ink, after the success of the first one. Once again, Atomica Gallery and tattoo magazine Things & Ink are giving you the opportunity to own original artwork and this, for a good cause. The exhibition will indeed help raising awareness for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, with profits from sales being donated to the charity. All the kewpie dolls can be purchased at an affordable price, but be quick! You will also be able to buy limited edition prints, original artwork, books, t-shirts and many other goodies from tattoo masters, as well as "naked" kewpie doll to decorate. The impressive list of artists includes Rose Hardy, Nikole Lowe, Tomas Tomas, Alix Gé, Big Sleeps, Guy le tatooer, Peter Aurisch, Kelly Violet, Jo Harrisson, Amanda Toy, and many more talented artists. Get more info on the Event's Page. You can have a sneak peek of the artwork made by famous artists right now:
