The Coca-Cola Tattoo Can for Hispanic Heritage Month
Coca-Cola does it again with their winning ideas this Hispanic Heritage Month.
Following their thought-provoking advertisement in the Middle East for Ramadan, Coca-Cola kicks off Hispanic Heritage month with their #OrgullosoDeSer (Proud to Be) campaign, emblazoning their cans with transferable temporary tattoos personalized with Latino family names.

Coca-Cola embraced the way Latino people takes pride in their family names and heritage in a video created by the DAVID Agency. They dig deep into how family names play a big part in the lives of Hispanic families. Every family name holds a story that the next generations will carry with great pride. It's amazing how they bear their family names with a sense of respect and honor. They don't throw it around like it's nothing.
Which is what gave Coca-Cola the idea to highlight the importance of surnames for Hispanic Heritage month, creating custom Coca-Cola cans with transferable temporary tattoos to let people literally wear their names around and express their love and pride for the family names they carry.
Although the Coca-Cola tattoo cans aren't available commercially, Coca-Cola is offering contour bottles personalized with Hispanic last names here. We wish they would, though! We hope Coca-Cola gets around to actually distributing cans like these, that would be definitely one of the coolest things that happened to Coca-Cola.
