Bad Tattoo Brewing Celebrates Day Of The Dead
The Day of the Dead holiday is just around the corner and people are feeling the sugar skull vibes.
Bad Tattoo Brewing are releasing two limited edition beers to celebrate the holiday. Day of the Dead is celebrated throughout Mexico across October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd and sees families and friends come together to celebrate and remember those who have died.
Bad Tattoo Brewing is using the holiday to reconnect with its Mexican roots through the beers, the first being Dia de Los Muertos La Resurrección and the second Dia de Los Muertos Cerveza Fuerte. Both beers are brewed in a rather unique way, being aged in Tennessee Whiskey barrels.
“We’re only releasing 1,200 bottles of the 2015 Dia de Los Muertos Cerveza Fuerte and 600 bottles of Dia de Los Muertos La Resurrección,”
“We believe Mexican culture is one of the most fascinating cultures worldwide, so we’ve given the new beers Spanish names...A big part of traditional tattoo culture is skeletons and skulls, which coincides with the essence of this Mexican holiday. By combining the two, we created a fun and unique event that is a celebration of life."
Day of the Dead celebrations have also had a huge influence on the tattoo world, largely through the rise of the sugar skull designs and day of the dead girls that are increasingly popular.
