Canada's New Prime Minister's Haida Tribe Tattoo
The Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau, son of the former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, has a great Haida Tribe tattoo to show Canadians.
Last week Canada held their Prime Minister elections with 3 major contestants fighting for the spot, the winner of elections is the Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau, son of the former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. He is the second youngest person to attend elections, honorary member of the Haida tribe and (the reason that caught our attention) the only current head of state that owns some ink! (As far as we know it!)
Back in 2003 he tweeted: "My tattoo is planet Earth inside a Haida raven. The globe I got when I was 23; the Robert Davidson raven for my 40th birthday."
The choice for Davidson's design was not a random act, when Trudeau was four, he was "adopted" by Davidson’s grandmother in a Haida ceremony.
So the fact that the tattoo has a cool historical and sentimental value for Justin, and that he chooses not to hide and is proud of it even though he is a Prime Minister, tells a lot about him! While we wait to see how he does as Canada's new Prime Minister, we leave you with this gif of him falling down the stairs!
