One remarkable thing about ONEQ is as far as her artist career goes, she's all self-taught. She shares with Supersonic Art that she never went to art school but it's something she's thankful for as it enabled her to bend rules and navigate on her own.

She recalls in an interview her earliest memories of art and creating them which includes summers in her hometown she and her friends spend drawing, reading manga with her brother, and an old lady in the neighborhood with an impressive art collection she used to admire so much.
