We may always have a soft spot in our hearts for Orange Is The New Black's Ruby Rose but that doesn't mean there's no room for more. Jane Doe of NBC's Blindspot definitely captured our hearts the moment we got a glimpse of that body suit. We fell harder once we got to know the woman behind the ink even she can't remember getting. Piece by piece, tattoo by tattoo, we're in on the unravelling of the clues behind Jane's identity and why exactly she's covered in tattoos with no recollection of who she is.

1. Jane Doe, that's why.

A tattooed heroine on TV isn't something you see everyday. Sure, she got us with the tattoos but we were still skeptical how Jaimie will play the part of a tattooed character on prime time. She didn't disappoint though,  eight episodes and counting!

2. She rocks her own tattoos.

Jaimie has a total of nine tattoos—one which is isn't covered for her role in Blindspot. That tattoo happens to be an interesting one, too. It's the “ES” tattoo she has on her wrist which stands for “elephant shoe.”

“It's something I used to say as a little kid. I never used to say, 'I love you.' I would mouth, 'Elephant Shoe.' If you mouth it, it looks like you're saying, 'I love you.' For me, it’s just one of those things that reminds me to be childlike and sort of look at the world through innocent eyes and just to be open minded,” the 31-year-old actress explains.

3. The Kurt and Jane ship is the cutest.

Though this ship can't be real as both seem to be happily taken, that ain't stopping the rest of us Blindspot fans who think that these two are just perfect and hoped they'd eventually end up together by the end of the show.

4. She played equally badass roles before.

Anybody who watched Thor will remember Jaimie's role as the blazing warrior, Lady Sif. Nothing less to expect from one of the defenders of the realm of Asgard. Not only did she look banging in her steel armor, but she definitely kicked galactic ass in the Thor movies.

5. She gets along well with the crew.

Having the same people work on you several times a week for the sole purpose of sticking stuff on your body has to be something only celebrities like Jaimie has to deal with. It's not the typical “makeup” or “wardrobe” change most celebrities have to go through on a daily basis.

Despite the rumors about Jaimie being a pain in the ass to work with, we've been following her long before these gossips surfaced. “Hanging with one of my favorite crew members here at#BLINDSPOT @stipanosandwich 😎 we have a neck tattoo fan club. And the same haircut. And we both like dogs. And....and.... she's really cool. 🙌🏻” she captions a picture with a crew member she's seen hanging out with the most.

6. She's great with kids.

Jaimie is often seen spending quality time with fiancé Peter Facinelli's kids from a previous relationship. And it's not just something for show—she constantly hangs out with them at work and even after work. She brings them on the set and lets them stick around and chill.

“These beautiful girls I get to call family,” she captions in an Instagram post.

7. She loves dogs as much as we do.

I don't know about you but there's just something about dog owners that immediately puts them straight into my good book. Maybe it's because we've owned dogs ourselves and we know just how these creatures can melt even hearts made of stone.

8. She's overall a great actress in and out of the set.

In most of her recent roles, Jaimie portrays strong women; fighters who, despite of being surrounded by men, stand unfazed and choose to fight on justice's side.

“When there’s so much on a piece of paper for me to do, I have to struggle to find my own flair to put into the character. In this, I get to help create Jane Doe with the writers and producers,” she says.

You also have to give it to her for the effort she puts into preparing for her character in Blindspot, playing an amnesiac woman who has no recollections of the days she spent as a Special Ops agent and having to go through the 7-hour ordeal of getting her temporary tattoos in place every day.
