The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, has an impressive ink collection and we're bringing you an in depth overview!
At 6'3 and almost 300lbs Brock Lesnar is quite literally a beast incarnate. For a man of his size and stature, Lesnar is an incredibly agile and quick moving athlete and one of the greatest talents the WWE has ever seen. A four time WWE champion Lesnar also boasts a UFC Heavyweight Championship and is undoubtedly a natural born fighter, he also has a taste for the ink!
Brock Lesnar's tattoos are a badass collection of fearsome pieces that are now an iconic part of the Lesnar image, but what are they and what do they mean?
Lesnar is famed for his fast and relentless approach in the ring, using his size and power to destroy whoever is in front of him and it's a safe assumption that the large demonic skull tattoo on his back has something to do with this. The large demonic skull has been a feature of the Lesnar image since his early WWE days and while he has never given its true meaning the fearsome ink speaks for itself. This demonic skull rests on the back of a demon in the ring!
Sitting below the demonic skull is a small but rather intense script tattoo. 'Kill Em All' rests on Lesnar's lower back and it really needs no explanation. If you're in Brock's way you'll soon be moved out of it...usually by 300lbs slamming into you!!
Another skull tattoo sits on Lesnar's right shoulder and probably symbolizes the end all wrestlers meet at the hands of The Beast Incarnate.
Arguably the most prominent and well known of Lesnar's tattoos is the large sword inked on his chest that points to his throat. Towards the end of his first stint in the WWE Lesnar was at his lowest, after a bad injury he was consuming a bottle of Vodka a day on top of wrestling with a painkiller addiction. At the same time he was arguing with WWE over his contract and future, feeling like he had a sword to his throat Lesnar commemorated the moment with a bold tattoo to remind him of what he overcame at that time!
“I felt like life was holding a sword right up against my throat, so I went under the ink gun because I never wanted to forget exactly how I felt at that time.”
Brock Lesnar is a monster of the wrestling industry and a true athlete, his tattoos are also pretty cool and now you know what they mean!!
