Heavily tattooed actor Nico Tortorella slips in a little bit about his “naughty” new tattoo placed a couple inches above his crotch. Hmmm...
He plays a tattoo artist in TV's Younger but actor Nico Tortorella's love for tattoos definitely does not stop there. It's why he's perfect for the part, after all. “I'm always getting new tattoos,” he told PEOPLE at the Younger premiere party at New York City's NoMad Hotel. “I probably need to stop at some point,” he added.
He's not afraid to show off his tattoo collection in his tighty whities, either. No complaints there.
One of his most recent tattoos is a large, black and grey piece on his left upper arm of what looks like a mother lion picking up its cub beside his mom anchor tattoo. Mommy Tortrorella doesn't seem to mind it though as she proudly walked alongside her son at the TV Land bash.
Our favorite, however, is the tattoo just above his crotch which consists of his name in lowercase—“niconiconico”—something that has to do with his fondness of writing in lowercase and his hate for punctuation.
“Nico Nico Nico is this idea of a concept brand art project that I came up with early in the year,” the 27-year-old actor explained. “I got the tattoo, my brother and I started working on this film that kind of documented my life in a really art pop-y way. It's all part of it. We filmed me getting the tattoo. You'll hear more when it comes out later this year. Nico Nico Nico, stay tuned.”
Finally, here's a photo of Nico chilling out with his best friend. Is there any room for one more, though?
