Weekly tattoo and booze sessions with pal took a turn for the worse when it left a man with an elephant crotch tattoo.
Mixing tattoos with alcohol on happy hours is never a good idea but it sure does make up for one hell of story to tell in the morning. Just ask Kieran, a builder from Coventry who’s got a story of his own to tell from one of those weeknights when things got a little bit out of hand. He sat down with the guys of Channel 4’s Tattoo Fixers to do a re-cap of just what went down that night.
Every week, Kieran meets up with his mate Snowy – who happens to be armed with a tattoo machine — for a couple drinks and what they’d call Tattoo Tuesdays. “One day after work, we had a few beers, a few too many and the tattoo gun comes out and that is where Tattoo Tuesday started,” Snowy told Tattoo Fixers. “He's written his name on my ribs. We had a game of noughts and crosses on my k***.”
Kieran says that the only tattoo experience they’ve had is on each other so rest assured, they’re both a few needle licks away from an appointment to the laser tattoo removal clinic.
On one particular Tuesday night, their booze and ink session literally went below the belt as the the builder ended up with a hilarious crotch tattoo of an elephant. Looking back at it now, the builder from Coventry realises how bad an idea it was to even let a machine near you after you’ve had one too many. “It's just a mess,” he said. “It look like it's been drawn on with a biro.”
Snowy disagrees, though. “To be honest with you I think it's brilliant,” the cheeky suspect told the show.
As expected, it was greeted with some interesting reactions in the Tattoo Fixers headquarters. “I don't do willies,” said Alice who just have to give it to the boys to do the ‘dirty job.’ The team finally settled on a skull with multi-coloured splotches of colours on the background.
“No more tattoo Tuesdays,” they tell Kieran.
