Berlin-based tattoo artist Valentin Hirsch aces at geometric-fused, symmetrical, dotwork-mottled animal and skull portraits.
If you're familiar with the works of Berlin-based tattoo artist Valentin Hirsch, then you'll know just how much this guy loves his symmetry like nothing else ever. He's even illustrated a book centered around it.
Two prominent subjects in most of Hirsch's works are skulls and animals in beautiful dotwork and black and grey detail. He then merges the two with his signature brand of symmetry which his clients keep coming back to him for.
Did I mention how fantastic his symmetrical, half-portrait works would make as matching tattoos?
You gotta admire the guy's impeccable shading and linework.
He's not afraid to experiment with other elements either to keep things interesting.
Hirsch is also very fond of geometric shapes, often sliding them excellently in his works.
His works aren't limited to bones and creatures with backbones, either. Hirsch did a prett good job in his few insect tattoos. He's really got it.
As of now, it seems that Hirsch is focusing on animal portraitures and geometric elements. But who knows what else is in for this Berlin-based tattoo artist!
