Fall in love with the versatility of Moscow-based tattoo artist Vlad Tokmenin—check out his gorgeous alternative graphic tattoos!
The name Vlad Tokmenin may most likely not be familiar to you in any way. That's because Tokmenin is a virtually unknown tattoo artist from Russia who's been making some insane progress in his works. And we believe it won't be long before people start really lining up for this one and booking several months ahead for an appointment.
Vlad Tokmenin currently works in several tattoo studios in Moscow, Russia. Judging by his social media feed, he's been experimenting with a number of styles for more than a couple years now and is actually a fairly flexible tattooist in terms of generic styles. But in what we've recently seen from Tokmenin, there's nothing generic with his newer works.
At first glance, it looks like some kind of futuristic, matrix-esque tattoo merged with basic geometric figures.
Some of his details may be a work in progress but we love where he's getting at.
Especially the way he placed accents in all the right places and how everything else in the pieces are arranged and disassembled.
We're seeing a whole lot of potential.
That's not the only thing Vlad is kicking arse at, though. We checked some of his other works and it made us wonder how come we only found out about this guy just now.
We're really loving this mash-up style spin he did on an Oliver Sykes portrait.
Oh, and would you look at that—some decent piece of blackwork. Vlad's got it.
