9 Monstrous Munster Tattoos To Excite Your Inner Goth

A nostalgic look back at one of TV's most ghoulish family sitcoms with these Munster tattoos.

I don't always watch Netflix, but when I do, I typically pick a series and spend the weekend binge-watching it in my underwear, until my eyes hurt and my apartment smells of Thai takeout. No shame in my game. After a long search through infinite genre and category, I decided I wanted to re-watch an old classic - and happened upon a childhood fave, The Munsters.

The Munsters aired on TV from 1964 through 1966, in black and white. The sitcom follows the misadventures of a ghoulish family of misunderstood monsters who were transplanted from ancient Transylvania to modern-day Californian suburbia. The running gag of the series was the family, (who considers themselves average working class people of the era) never quite realizing why people react so strangely towards them. Ah, simpler times.

In honor of my weekend, (and for good old nostalgia's sake) we are bringing you a couple stellar Munster tattoos collected by super-fans of the series, accompanied by a very rare color version of the opening credits to excite your inner goth. Enjoy!
