Step into the kaleidoscopic trash tattoos of Timur Lysenko. His work will pull you into the tides and get under your skin...
Trash polka is arguably one of the most incredible styles that takes skill, expertise, and creativity to execute flawlessly. There are other branches of trash style tattoos but a fewer range of artists who nail them perfectly. Among the few are Anrijs Straume with his dark trash realism, Volko and Simone with their classic trash polka, and this gentlemen presented here—Timur Lysenko.
Timur is a London-born, Polish-based trash tattoo artist who's been in the business for a respectable amount of years. And evident of those years are his series of works that each astounded us with his attention for detail, ability to make something beautiful in the midst of disorder, and his versatility.
One may also associate Timur's works with the mash-up style as he tends to mix different tattoo styles in his pieces, resulting to the so-called wonderful mess his works are known for.
Many of Timur's tattoos feature women's portraits in grim facial expressions. He also has the ability to incorporate pop culture icons like Edward Scissorhands in his pieces without looking as overused as other tribute tattoos. He makes it look fresh like no one's ever seen them before.
Personally, I list Timur Lysenko as one of my favorite tattoo artists of all time. I fell in love with the richness of his works and how most of them radiate a sense of passion put into them by the artist.
Timur is based in Wroclaw, Poland.
