Designer Sophie Osborne got the idea for her awesome new tattoo from supermarket retailer, ASDA.
Some tattoo ideas come from the oddest places. Just ask this 27-year-old designer from Shoebury, UK. Sophie Osborne was out and about in one of the ASDA supermarkets in town when a particular bedding caught her eye. It was one from the Purrmaid line of ASDA's duvets.
The quirky ASDA bedding simply reminded the designer of her pet cat, Chicken. “I really like cats. I wanted to get a fun portrait of my cat Chicken anyway and the Purrmaid looked just like him face wise, so it was everything and more that I could have designed myself!” she says.
Prior to her encounter with the Purrmaid beddings in ASDA, Sophie had already booked an appointment at The Great Ship tattoo parlour in Hadleigh for a flower tattoo but consulted with tattoo artist Connor Bell for a change in plans. “My tattoo artist Connor Bell re-drew the Purrmaid slightly and gave it an etched finish,” Sophie says.
“My friends and family think the tattoo is awesome. I’ve got a tattoo to match my bedding now!” Sophie's husband, Adam thinks it's a darling too.
