'F*** Life' tattoo was cool when he was younger but now this father of two has some serious tattoo regret!
When he was 18 Andy thought the words 'F*** Life' written across his stomach would make him look hard and cool. A fan of gangster rappers who popularized the phrase the teen didn't give a second thought to how he would feel a decade down the line, but the now 27 year-old has some serious tattoo regret!
Now with two daughters under the age of five called Amelia and Jessica, Andy has decided the tattoo has to go before they can learn to read:
'What kind of a dad will I be when my children are learning to read and write and they start swearing, If they are asked "where did you learn that word" they will say "my dad has it tattooed across his stomach". How do you explain that to a teacher?'
Appearing on Channel 4's 'Bodyshockers' Andy opened up about how his perceptions of life have changed and why his tattoo does not mean what it once did.
'The tattoo has no reflection on the way I look on life now at all, it is the total opposite.
'At first I thought it was brilliant I was getting lot of attention and people couldn't believe their eyes,'
As you can imagine when Andy first revealed the tattoo to his mother she was far from pleased.
'I remember the first time I saw it I was so angry, I couldn't look at you for days on end I was raging. It is the stupidest thing he has ever done in his life. You don't 'f*** life', you live life and he has realised that now.'
Thankfully Andy now feels the same and has had the tattoo covered with a much better design!
If you learn anything from Andy's story let it be the fact that a 'F*** Life' tattoo is never a good idea!!
