Will Dixon tattoos at Imperial Tattoo Company Bath (UK), and has been tattooing for over seven years.
"There isn't a particular aspect of tattooing I love more than the next. Tattooing in general makes me happy."
More often than not, when we feature tattoo artists on this blog, we categorise their work as a particular style, and explore their talents within the expertise of that specific artistic strand.
That's not the case for Will Dixon. His exquisite tattoo portfolio spans realism, neo-traditional, black and grey, dotwork, script, color, watercolor, abstract and more.
Being able to master so many different artistic techniques isn't something you see from every tattoo artist in the world. For me, Will's work hits the mark every time, and I can't wait to see what's to come from him in the future.
"I haven't anything major planned," Will tells me. "I want to continue building my skills and developing my portfolio. I've been concentrating a lot more on my neo-traditional color work recently and trying to push myself more in that direction. I'm striving to achieve the opportunity to work the Brighton Tattoo Convention and ultimately the London show."
I end our chat by asking Will what he loves most about his job. "There isn't a particular aspect of tattooing I love more than the next," he replies. "Tattooing in general makes me happy. I find exploring different styles keeps tattooing fresh and my love for it continues to grow."
