So, Ben Affleck's Infamous Backpiece Is Actually Fake... Thank God
Cue the giant sigh of relief.
Remember that giant, full-color backpiece Ben Affleck has that we've written about 5 million times? Well, great news folks. It's fake.
He went along with it for quite some time, and I admire his dedication to the whole thing - but the truth has officially come out. In a recent interview with Mario Lopez (or who I will always see him as, AC Slater) Affleck revealed the truth- which is that the tattoo is simply for a movie.
While he does have several tattoos, the Affleck Backpiece of Scandal of 2016 can officially be put to rest.
"[It's] fake for a movie," Affleck, 43, told Lopez. "I actually do have a number of tattoos … but I try to have them in places where you don't have to do a lot of cover up … they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile."
We feel you, Ben. And we're also super grateful that the clusterfuck we thought existed on your back is in fact, not real. Gotta be honest though, I'm not sure if I'm buying that explanation. He answered a little too quick and a little too seriously. Maybe the backlash (see what I did there?) got to him and he's rushing to get it covered up. I guess we'll just have to see. Watch the interview below and see what you think.
