We all have those days where we just give up on everything—screw it and go on a steady relationship with food, which has always been there for us anyway. Katy West of Denbighshire knows this feeling all too well when she ‘put a ring on it.’ Her poison of choice happens to be one of those seemingly diabetes-inspired donuts from Krispy Kreme.
The 37-year-old library assistant who is currently single (otherwise, her significant could have been terribly envious— I would!) loves the American donut company so much that she once drove 70 miles for a Krispy Kreme. That's what makes a love story better than Twilight.
She recently made it official with the cutest finger tattoo which got even her tattoo artist baffled.
‘He was pretty baffled and wondered why I wanted it. He thought I must be married and me and my husband must love doughnuts.’ the 36-year-old shared. ‘I said I’ve got all I need in life on that finger now!’ she added.
‘I love all doughnuts but Krispy Kremes are definitely my favourite. I try to save myself for when I visit a Krispy Kreme shop. If I see them I have to buy them. I usually buy three at a time,’ Katy told Metro.
‘I’d been wondering for a while whether or not to get a doughnut tattoo on my ring finger. I just thought it would be really funny and I kept thinking about it.’
Katy got the bite-size tattoo done at a tattoo convention around her hometown and isn't too troubled about whether she'll soon be regretting her nutty tattoo soon. ‘The old ladies in the library are going to love it,’ she even quipped.
I am actually writing this one down at Krispy Kreme over a classic glazed donut the doctor says I should lay off for now. What are the odds!
