Drag Queen Turns Herself Into Cartoon Characters Straight From The 90s
Phi Phi O'Hara brings your childhood to life with her spectacular, all-out makeup transformations featuring 90s cartoon characters.
From creatures straight out of a horror movie film to mind-boggling 3-D effects, you probably think you've seen them all in terms of makeup art. But drag queen and RuPaul's Drag Race contestant, Phi Phi O'Hara's makeup transformation challenge will prove you wrong...
Titled ‘365 Days of Drag’, Phi Phi comes up with a new theme every week for her transformations which she plans two weeks in advance.
Phi Phi looks glorious in all her transformations, nothing less even for the most flat characters which she manages to paint some life into. She took cues from our favorite childhood TV shows like Rugrats, Daria, and more, pulling the characters from their mundane 2D world into hers.
The ‘365 Days of Drag’ started out as Phi Phi's personal project to challenge herself into new heights as a drag queen, transforming into even the most unlikely characters. “I want to push myself into creating some amazing and creative characters,” Phi Phi says.
“And lastly, I wanted to inspire people to always push themselves and never let something put a limit on your talent.”
