Think you've seen them all? Right. You might want to give this capricious tattoo artist's works a look. His tattoos will give you a surge of childhood nostalgia—days that you barely remember where you spent the whole time marking as much of your mom's immaculate walls as you tiny hands can take. Not everyone are going to be fans of this young tattoo artist's work but if you're into anything related to tattoos and contemporary art, read on!
Ziggy Hills is the young artist behind the moniker, Funns. He spends his days painting and tattooing in Baths, UK. In his art, Ziggy adapted a very laidback approach to pretty much everything, choosing to focus in the process and his ideas. ‘I draw things, sometimes on humans,’ is his short and simple introduction as an artist.
"I don’t have too much of a personality or any statement to share; I like being alone and that’s it really," he wrote.
And while he comes off as self-effacing and reserved, Ziggy pours it out on his works that are characterized by the unapologetically bright colors and bold brush strokes. His style can be described as primitivism, possessing semi-abstract and raw qualities.
Aside from tattooing, Ziggy also indulges himself in varied art forms such as crafting, painting, and whatever on earth he sets his heart on to.
