Think Mean Girls. Around ten years ago, pink was reserved for either every young girl who ever dreamed of becoming unicorn-princesses or the preppy group of kids everybody secretly hated in school.
You couldn't call yourself edgy and be caught dead wearing pink back then. But these days, pink — especially in pastel — is quickly becoming the new hot aesthetic. There's the sad boy subculture, Drake, streetwears, and every other "aesthetics" page on Tumblr.
A number of tattoo artists have also gotten the pinkfection and are toying around pink-stethics in their tattoos, mostly in the form of hand poked minimalist pieces as seen in the works of Yaroslav Putyata and Victor Zabuga.
When you see a bright flash of pink your eye can't help but be drawn to it, even if it's in the tiniest design imaginable. Whether an artist is using just a dab of the bright color, or going hog wild with it, it's a hue that we can't get enough of.
