Several months back while casually reading about the South Korean tattoo scene, I've picked up something about the tattoo artist Seoeon. They mentioned something about Seoeon being one of the tattoo artists who brought the distinct, subtle style of South Korean tattoos in the mainstream scene. I also know a few local tattoo artists who look up to Seoeon for inspiration when it comes to micro tattoos and subtler designs. They're only among the many who found inspiration in Seoeon's delicate linework and strong color choices.
Seoeon was among the first contemporary South Korean tattoo artists who mastered the style which is now spreading into many parts of the world. Tattooing may still be technically illegal in South Korea, but that's definitely not stopping artists like Seoeon from giving all they've got and revolutionizing the tattoo world in the process.
