If you're in for something intense, keep scrolling and feast your artistic thirst with Felipe Rodriguez's alternatively styled tattoos. At first glance, you'll see three things at once in Felipe's works: Sketchy linework, watercolor fills, and a neo traditional style core. The Brazilian tattoo artist — who coincidentally works at a shop called Electric Ink — brilliantly brought the three together to develop his particularly striking style.
It took a couple or so years for Felipe to blend the triad of styles well together as he started out with doing them separately before experimenting them together. While some prefer to stick to two styles — sketch and watercolor, particularly — as you've seen in tattoo artist Russell Van Schaick's works, Felipe took a harder route.
And judging by his feed, one would easily assume that the Brazilian tattoo artist takes inspiration from pop culture icons and fine art like most, Felipe is instead fascinated by dark imagery and the occult. He keeps mementos and occasionally shares new books and merchandise he scored from goth and cult brands.
