The Poetic Pointillism of Anna Neudecker
Italian tattoo artist Anna Neudecker creates stunningly poetic tattoos through stippling and intertwining pointillism with fine lines.
It turns out that Italy is not just about fine dining and pretty people. It turns out that the home of pizza and a couple more of my favorite food also boasts some of the finest contemporary tattoo artists right now. What can I say; Italy, after all, is the birth place of iconic artists like Michelangelo and Da Vinci.
In each tattoo Anna creates, she somehow finds a way to turn them into a piece that would make you search for a deeper meaning and make you feel something. With her fine lines peppered with pointillism, she crafts her tattoos with careful hands and with her heart poured out to the core.
A favorite piece of mine is this piece inspired by an installation art from Burning Man in 2015 by Ukrainian sculptor Alexander Milov. It conjures up a powerful thought that reverberated within the skin of the wearer. It featured two grown men with their backs to one another, stubborn and unforgiving; refusing to listen to their inner child, so easy to forgive and forget, urging them to make up.
