18 Times Georgina Liliane's Animal Tattoos Were So Damn Majestic
Travelling tattoo artist Georgina Liliane has a knack for designing majestic-looking animals in her royally good neo traditional style.
Inspired by the wonders of the Victorian era in all its elegance and grandeur, travelling tattoo artist and self-proclaimed cat lady Georgina Liliane spent the last five years of her tattoo career trying to recreate that beauty in her works.
She started her apprenticeship at Intense Colours Tattoo Studio in Southampton, UK and worked as a tattoo artist in the same shop until June 2016. She's currently travelling and tattooing in Canada, getting to see the world, spreading her gorgeous ink, and finding inspiration in the places she visit.
Most of Georgina's works include portraits that are often heavily inspired by her intense fascination with Victorian elements and her own neo traditional touch. She designs them in beautiful frames, bordered by half-wreaths of flowers and crystals, looking simply majestic despite their wild and unhinged nature. In a way, I see Georgina's style of tattooing animals as very similar to antique depictions and photographs of Victorian era — the time was captured in such a graceful way that you almost forget that the people in that point of time was actually as mad and foolish as we are.
