It's safe to say, Arabic looks pretty damn cool. A lot of people love getting Arabic tattoos because of the way the script looks. However, looks can be deceiving, especially when what you've got written on your body isn't exactly what you had in mind
Here's a great example of why Tumblr and Instagram can't always be trusted. The Arabic words "انا معفن", pronounced “Ana Ma’afn”, have recently gained some popularity on the internet. In all honesty, they look pretty cool right?
Wrong. The words actually translate to "I'm Rotten'', which is probably not what the intention was here.. unless it was.. then I don't really know what to say..
But, if it serves as any consolation, this person wasn't the only one to fall in the infamous trap. As for this guy, let's just say this is probably not the best way to start off a tattoo collection... ''
But wait, there's more
Of course, these types of mistakes are human and they can happen to anyone. Even the ones we call ''famous''. Even if this isn't a tattoo, Lindsay Lohan learned a small lesson when posting this heartfelt picture.
Finally, although this isn't Alicia Keys' tattoo, she probably didn't want to be rubbing up on a...rotten... man in her music video
