The 2016 Rio Olympics has been showcasing some incredibly talented athletes. Every athlete has an artistic side, having mastered a craft and perfecting the art of their discipline. Some of them have taken it a small step further and added tattoos to the mix.
Here's a closer look at some of these athletes and their body art
Up first, we have American gymnast Jake Dalton, sporting his patriotic pride.
Australian boxer Daniel Jason Lewis has quite an impressive collection which includes a neck piece, a boxing kangaroo on his chest (amazing), and a pair of sleeves.
In the other corner, we have Argentina's boxer Ignacio Perrin who sports impressive back tattoos.
British cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins has some awesome floral patterns on his right arm.
Brazil's handball player Jessica Quintino has a cute Mickey & Miney tattoo on the back of her left arm.
Australian water-polo player Joel Swift has two beautiful women figures on his right and left thigh.
German gymnast Marcel Nguyen sports a very nice sleeve and some cool lettering across his chest.
Up next we have American freestyle wrestler Jordan Burroughs, who has a nice shoulder/chest tattoo which includes the Olympic rings.
The famous All Blacks rugby squad from New Zealand has a few great talents. Amongst them is Sonny Bill Williams. He has a few tattoos, but his most recognizable one is his tribal style sleeve.
Canadian rugby player Jen Kish has a fantastic collection with two sleeves containing a mixture of flowers, stars and some lettering.
