The Deconstructed Tattoos of Diki
South Korean tattoo artist Diki gives your regular traditional tattoos a lovable twist with subtle deconstructivism.
Diki may still be a relatively-unknown tattoo artist in the mainstream scene but as I've heard, he's definitely no greenhorn tattooer in the local shores. Having collaborated with famous K-Pop boy group SHINee, Diki definitely have had his well-deserved share of the spotlight for some time.
With that said, let's get down to the core of Diki's works. His works are composed of mostly deconstructed traditional pieces made of sharp outlines and primary colors. They're basically your average ship and anchor tattoos with a very eccentric yet not too over-the-top twist. While he can play up with a bit of black and grey shading here and there on larger pieces, his tattoos are mostly designed as minimal as possible.
