It’s hard to come up with a bad tattoo when your inspiration is nature -literally the most perfect muse on the planet. Korean artist Zihee Tattoo’s work is heavily influenced by nature and organic matter, depicting flowers, insects, animals, and plants in a uniquely illustrative style.
Opting for a watercolor palette, her style has a dreamy, organic feel that’s reminiscent of William Sommer’s floral work. Lacking any sort of defined border, her pieces looks as if they're floating atop the skin: a flower suspended in mid-air, a snake slithering its way through a dangling bouquet. Its effortlessness suggesting that it has somehow just appeared on the person, rather than undoubtedly requiring an incredible amount of talent and effort.
