Her name is Hrafnhildur Inga Guðjónsdóttir, but to make it easier on all of you, she also goes by the name of Habba Nero.
Based in Reykjavik, Iceland, Habba Nero has travelled around Europe and North America sharing her unique craft in places such as the Faroe Islands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Ireland, France, England, Scotland and the United States at various conventions.
She studied at the Iceland Academy of Arts, but it was her boyfriend, Boff Konkerz, who really showed her the art of tattooing and got her interested in the craft. She didn't make it a career until she had tested out her work on multiple people, mostly friends and family.
The main inspirations for her work include nature, animals and magical/norse runes mixed with organic forms. The best part is that all of her work is machine-free. She prefers using the stick and poke method because she feels that they heal faster and are less at risk of infection.
One thing is for sure, though. Her lines, dotted shading and shapes are impeccable. I'll even go ahead and say magical because of the vibes they give off.
