FLASH FRIDAY: Katya Krasnova

The Pin-Ups, Cats, and Morbid Curiosities of Katya Krasnova

Initially used as means to rapidly tattoo walk-in customers, flash art has come a long way since its inception. Gone are the days of ready to order tattoos; in more recent years, flash art has become more of a jumping off point for customers browsing the walls of a shop in search of some inspiration. Essentially, flash has transitioned into more of a fine art, gaining widespread popularity among the tattoo community. For this new weekly feature here at Tattoodo, we're highlighting the talented and wonderful artist, Katya Krasnova.

Favoring vintage-style pin-up girls, cats, and morbid curiosities, Krasnova has absolutely mastered the art of misleadingly simple flash work. Resulting in timeless pieces, Krasnova has not only made a name for herself in the flash art community, but has amassed a loyal following, effectively carving out a space for herself as a master.
