Sports fans might be wary of his newly-minted deal with the Golden State Warriors, but we here at Tattoodo are mainly infatuated with Kevin Durant's fresh tattoo work.
Most of Durant's tattoos are pretty well-hidden from the public eye, usually adorning the parts of his body that are covered up with clothes. The "Durantula" is running out of real estate on his torso and back though, so he has moved on to getting some pop culture inspired tattoos on his legs.
Durant's torso tattoos feature a ton of references to where he grew up; they include a Washington Nationals tattoo on his stomach and a representation of his childhood home.
His back features prominent religious imagery, along with an entire scripture from the James 1: 2-4 part of The Bible. This is where you can find his often mocked misspelling of the word "mature."
Recently, Durant has begun to show his more contemporary influences. Since he is running out of skin to cover on his upper body, he has branched out to the lower regions of the body, showcasing a new Tupac tattoo in early August.
Not only did Durant get some Tupac-inspired ink, he got the original "Super Freak" himself highlighted on his upper thigh. That's right, Durant is an unabashed Rick James fan and isn't afraid to let his "Super Freak" flag fly.
The question remains — when will Durant venture out into getting tattoos on the more visible parts of his body? Sure that calf Tupac portrait is nice, but what about them arms, bruh?
