Hollywood quirk-ball Shia LaBeouf has made a name for himself lately by doing spontaneous and eccentric things. He made a viral internet motivational video, he invited people to sit and watch his movies with him in Brooklyn and now he got some pretty whacky tattoos etched on his body.
While on set for Andrea Arnold's newest film, American Honey, LaBeouf would frequent the tattoo shop and get fresh tattoos, giving the director headaches in the process because, you know, continuity.
Some of the strangest tattoos the anti-Hollywood star got during the filming are the two portrait tattoos of Missy Elliott on his knees.
LaBoeuf claims that he isn't the biggest Elliott fan, but was a victim of "peer pressure" while considering getting the tattoos.
The whole cast apparently would go to the tattoo shop during the filming of American Honey, with LaBeouf claiming it to be a bonding experience.
Unfortunately there haven't been any pictures of the tattoos released yet. But we sincerely hope that it captures Elliott in her Supa Dupa Fly best from what may have been the greatest music video of all time. Just look at that outfit. Who wouldn't want that as a tattoo?
Here's hoping that bonding will lead to an awesome movie, and all signs look like it will be. The film took the Jury Prize at Cannes and has been well-received by most critics.
Don't just dream about having matching tattoos of Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott... DO IT! JUST DO IT!!!
Here's also hoping that the Missy Elliott tattoos are just as good as the movie!
