It's retro toy appreciation time once again. What we have here are the Troll dolls that made it big in the 60s and the 90s.
The first Troll doll was originally made by a Danish woodcutter named Thomas Dam. Unable to purchase a Christmas gift for his daughter, Dam made use of his skills to carve a doll from his imagination. Long story short, a father's purest intention turned into a hit money maker. Although it may not have achieved the coveted status of toys like My Little Pony, the Troll dolls remain on every nostalgic toy list and car dashboard.
Despite years of legal battles and copyright claims, the Trolls made it to 2016 with a new movie coming out after several failed attempts of making Trollz a thing in the early Y2K. Surprisingly, you can also find a number of novelty Troll doll tattoos that are often cleverly placed on the sides, just below the armpit hairs. Cute, right?
