Get ready to have the wits scared out of you! Kyle "Egg" Williams' renditions of monsters, slashers, and the demonically possessed are sure to give you goosebumps. Williams particularly excels at black and grey work. Check out this gallery of his frighteningly good portraiture.
Williams is a master at recreating classic characters from horror flicks in tattoos. Much of his portraiture is decidedly dark, which brings out the scariness in figures like Evil Ash from Army of Darkness and Pinhead from Hellraiser. Also, his depictions of Frankenstein's monster are absolutely killer.
Williams' best portraits are the ones that incorporate scenery or text underneath the main images. The negative space silhouettes below the depictions of the Crow and Marilyn Manson are both awesome. Also, it's amazing how he renders iconic scenes from films as seen in the tattoos that take after The Exorcist and An American Werewolf in London. The sign for Camp Crystal Lake makes his portrait of Jason Voorhees truly stand out; from the standpoint of a horror fanatic, it's totally badass.
We hope you enjoyed viewing these unsettlingly realistic portraits by Williams. If you want to be creeped out by more of his astounding work, you can see it on his Instagram. Also, he works out of Grindhouse Tattoo Productions in Cheshire, England, if you want one of his terrifying portraits on your skin.
