Sarah Whitehouse makes some of the most adorable black and grey dot-work tattoos in the world. Though they come in many motifs, since Halloween is right around the corner, we thought it would be nice to share some of her tattoos of little creepies — like witches, vampires, spider-ladies, and characters from horror movies — with you.
One of Whitehouse's best cute-yet-creepy motifs are her witches, which seem to soar off the skin on their brooms in a magical way. Watch out though, they have the ability to hex you with their bewitchingly adorable looks. Double, double, toil and trouble — now you've got goo-goo eyes.
No All-Hallow's-Eve-themed tattoo post would be complete without a few vampires, even if one is a cat. Whitehouse's endearing black and grey style makes these little bloodsuckers look cuddly enough to invite them in the house.
Who thought you could make spiders likable? Turns out that it's possible, as demonstrated by Whitehouses lovely arachnid ladies. We bet they bite. Funny how looks can be deceiving.
Some of her best tattoos are homages to cult classics or references real-life horrors, like the murder of Nancy Spungen. You can almost hear the twins from The Shining calling you to come play, and her rendition of Wednesday Addams seems to almost say, "This is my costume. I'm a homicidal maniac. They look just like everybody else." Also, Whitehouse's signature style perfectly capture's the personality of Lydia from Beetlejuice.
It was our pleasure to bring you these little spooks by Sarah Whitehouse. If you want to see more of her work, check out her Instagram. She works at Redwood Tattoo Studio in Manchester, UK, so if you, too, are strange and unusual, pay her a visit for a creepy yet cute tattoo right in time for Halloween.
