#STILLNOTASKINGFORIT: A Flash Event to End Rape Culture

Ashley Love and Allied Tattoo in Brooklyn take a stand against rape culture

Ashley Love is a woman of many talents; tattoo artist extraordinaire and feminist activist to boot. From the woman that brought you Good Fat: Curvy Pin Up Girls, comes the second annual Still Not Asking For It, a flash event that takes a stand against rape culture.

On Sunday October 23, 2016, Allied Tattoo in Bushwick, Brooklyn, will open their doors at noon for their second Still Not Asking For It event. Featuring adorable flash art with a powerful message, the tattoos will start at $50 and vary in price and size, and will be available on a first come, first served basis. All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization that provides services and aid for sexual assault and abuse survivors. Ashley Love, as well as the team at Allied, will be there tattooing until 10:00 p.m., so be sure to stop by! And if you’re not in the New York area, be sure to follow our Snapchat (@tattoodotv) for our live coverage of the event, and check back on Monday for our recap of the event.

Because no matter what age, gender, clothing, situation, or time of day we are still not fucking asking for it. Period.

You can learn more about the event by visiting the Facebook Page and Ashley Love’s Instagram.
